Xi’an Qinglong Temple Competition, China 2019
In 2019, CX Landscape is invited by Denton Corker Marchall , to participant a design competition for Qinglong Temple precinct, in Xi’an China.
Drawing on contemporary versions of Tang Dynasty landscape, a wide central avenue of cherry blossom trees is centred on the temple gateway, to reflect the history of Japanese missions to Tang China, and the ceremonial acknowledgement to culture & civilization exchanges. Inspired by history, the beautiful landscape provides a new urban parkland for Xi’an, as a way to benefit both residents and the wider public.
